New Hampshire chickens are a dual purpose heirloom bird, bred for their excellent food qualities and showroom competition characteristics. They are of medium size — perfect for broiling or roasting — and they make excellent homestead fowl as well.
Ever since I was young, I have actively bred, raised and managed my own flock of award-winning New Hamp chickens. Through my intensive breeding program, I have managed to produce the best individual birds for body type, color, hardiness and meat quality.
